Dies ist ein Bericht über meine Erlebnisse mit meinen Hunden und über mich!

Jeder Abschnitt ist weiter unten auf der Seite in Deutsch, Englisch und Italienisch.

Ich beschloss im Jahre 2003, einen Golden Retriever zu nehmen. Es sollte ein Golden sein, weil diese ja so tolle Familienhunde seien. Ich suchte nach einen Wanderfreund, und nach einen Spielkamerad für meinen damals 8-jährigen Sohn. Er sollte eine Erfahrung mit Tieren erleben., noch dazu mit solche herzensguten Hunden.

 

Und so begann alles….

Es kostete mich einige Monate und endlose Abende am PC um mich über die Rasse im Detail zu informieren, ich lernte  in dieser Zeit viel dazu. Damals las ich zwar, dass die ‚Goldens’ ausser „Familien“hund, noch ganz andere Qualitäten hätten, doch nahm ich diese Tatsache nur nebenbei wahr.

Es war mir zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch nicht bewusst, dass es unterschiedliche Linien des Golden gibt. Es war mir nur klar, dass ich keinen „weissen“ Golden Retriever haben möchte, sondern einen eher dunklen - einen richtigen goldenen Golden. Ich erfuhr von dem Unterschied zwischen Showlinie und Arbeitslinie: erstere zeichnet sich meist durch einen schwereren Körperbau und ihr helleres Fell aus, hingegen sind Exemplare aus Arbeitslinien oft durchaus leichter gebaut und meist dunkler. Ich las von der Dual Line, welche eine Mischung aus Show- und Arbeitslinien ist und beschloss, dass ich nach einem Golden aus einer Dual Linie suchen würde.  Ausserdem war mir klar, dass ich nie einen Hund bei einem professionellen Züchter kaufen würde. Und somit startete ich mit der Suche nach: einen ‚goldenen’ Golden - aus privater Zucht. Im Februar 2004 fand ich dann in Italien den Traum-Züchter. Eine Familie die nicht von der Hundezucht, sondern mit den Hunden lebt. Die Züchterin hatte bereits im ersten Wurf ausgezeichnete Ergebnisse mit ihrer Hündin und vereinigte die Qualitäten der Showlinie mit der Arbeitslinie.  Ich „bewarb“ mich somit dann sozusagen um meinen Hund, da eben ein Wurf geboren wurde und nur noch ein kleiner Rüde einen freien Platz benötigte.  Ich wurde mehrere Male in das schöne Piemont eingeladen um uns vorzustellen und zu beweisen, dass wir des Hundes würdig wären. Wir waren es,  und zu Ostern 2004 zog nun unser Welpe bei uns ein.

Und somit begann mein Retriever Abenteuer!!!

La mia Retriever-story:

Ho preso la decisione di prendere un Golden Retriever nel anno 2003. Un Golden perché sono stupendi cani da famiglia. Inizialmente mio marito non era d'accordo, ma piano riuscivo convincerlo. Per me sarebbe stato un ottimo compagno per le passeggiate e per mio figlio un amico da gioco. Mio figlio aveva 8 anni e mi sembrava pronto per questa esperienza con animali. Mio marito, come gia menzionato, non era d'accordo, ma ormai è innamorato dei cani come me!

 

 

My Retriever-story:

 

I’ve decided to take a Golden Retriever in 2003. My husband was not really happy about this, actually he did not wanted a dog and it took quite a long time to convince him about my idea. It should have been a Golden Retriever, because known as perfect fitting family dogs. On one hand the dog should be an accompany for me during my walking activities and on the other hand the dog should have been a friend for my son to play with.  My son was at this time 8 years and I found it was time for him and an experience like this. As stated before, my husband did not approve my decision but now he is in love with the dogs as much as I am.

 

 

Come iniziava tutto quanto….

Ho passato diverso tempo su Internet per cercare informazioni in riguardo alla razza e durante questo periodo ho imparato molto. Infatti, leggevo che questi “Golden” non solo sono cani stupendi da famiglia, ma che avrebbero tante altre qualità. Pero non realizzavo questo fatto completamente.

A questo punto non ero conoscente neanche del fatto che ci sono diverse linie del “Golden”, la linea di bellezza e la linea di lavoro. Sapevo soltanto che avrei voluto un golden “Golden” ma non un “Golden” bianco. Leggevo della linea “Dual”, che rappresenta una miscela tra linea di lavoro e linea di bellezza. Prendo’ la decisione di cercare una cane di linea “Dual”. Oltre questo mi era chiaro che non sarei andata presso un allevatore professionale. E inizio’ la ricerca per un “golden” Golden di un allevatore amatoriale. In Febbraio 2004 trovo’ finalmente l’allevatore dei miei sogni. Una famiglia che non vive del business di allevamento cani, ma vive coi propri cani! In piu l’allevatrice ha cercato di combinare le ottime qualità delle due linie e gia la prima cucciolata rendeva dei ottimi cani. Inizio' la richiesta per poter comperare un cane della seconda cucciolata appena nata e cercavo di dimostrare che ero degna di un cane, quindi mi recavo diverse volte nel bellissimo Piemonte per fare conoscere la mia famiglia e me stesso. Eravamo in grado di tenere un cane? Si, lo eravamo e  Pasqua 2004 arrivava il nostro cucciolo!

A questo punto inizio’ la mia avventura “Retriever”!!

 

How all this came…..

I spent a lot of time in Internet in order to look for information about the race and during this time I’ve learned a lot. Actually, I’ve read about these “Golden” not only about being fantastic family dogs but having much more qualities. But I did not realise very well this fact.

At this point I did not know about the different lines of the “Goldens” – show line and working line – but I did know that I wanted to have a “golden” Golden, and not a white “Golden”. I’ve read a lot about the “Dual” lines that combined the qualities of the show and the working lines. So I took the decision to look for the “Dual” line. And – it was clear that I did not look for a professional breeder. So I did start my research for a “golden” Golden coming from an amateur breeder. In February 2004 I found this breeder. A family that do not breed for work but do live with their dogs! And more, the breeder succeeded in combining the optimal qualities of both lines and the first litter was a success. I started to “apply” for a dog of the second litter that just had been born and tried to show being able to keep a dog. My family and me succeeded, travelling a lot of times to the beautiful Piemont in order to show my family and we received our dog!!!! Therefore Eastern 2004 finally our puppy arrived!
